Ferrofluid Rotary Vacuum Feedthroughs
Ferrofluidic vacuum seals for transmitting motion into a vacuum system or chamber. Ferrofluid is small suspended particles in fluid that are attracted by a magnetic grooved pole piece that pulls the particles to form a high vacuum seal. Most importantly,Ferrofluid seals do not produce particles due to wearing which can contaminate products in vacuum coating applications. Feedthroughs can be either solid shaft or hollow shaft on various flanges.

Viewports provide visual access to interiors of vacuum chambers, systems and piping. In addition, vacuum viewports can transmit or filter frequencies of light entering or exiting a vacuum system. Viewport materials can be fused silica, sapphire, kodial glass, magnesium fluoride, calcium fluoride or zinc selenide. Viewports can be various grades that affect transmission qualities and also can be anti-reflective coated to improve transmission of light.
Electrical Vacuum Feedthrough
Electrical vacuum feedthroughs are used to transmit electrical, optical and thermocouple signals to inside a vacuum system. Types of feedthroughs include, multi-pin, power, thermocouple, Sub-Min, and coaxial. Electrical Feedthroughs come with Weldable, NW, ISO, CF, NPT or baseplate flanges.
Wire Seal Feedthroughs
Wire seal feedthroughs differ from ceramic seal feedthroughs in that the individual wires are sealed using a potting material. Therefore, the individual wires to be sealed and custom configurations possible at a low cost. These seals can reach high vacuum levels. Because sealing is around individual wires, such wires as camera, sensor and USB type cables can be inserted into vacuum. Wire seal feedthroughs can also be thermocouple. Applications are for vacuum systems and atmospheric/vacuum glove boxes.
